Two months old

Madilyn is 8 weeks old and had to got her first shots today. I give babies shots all the time, but it is so different having my own child get one! Hearing her cry makes me want to cry! You can tell that she's not very happy today. She is 15 pounds 3 ounces and 24 1/4 inches long. I thought she felt a lot heavier than Evan, and she is, he was only 13lbs 12oz at this age. The doctor reassured me that her growth will slow at some point. I sure hope so... I have a hard time carrying her in her carseat and she only gets to wear her clothes a few times before she grows out of them. She loves to smile and is barely starting to coo. I just can't wait until she sleeps through the night (she's still up every 4 hours). We are really enjoying having a girl though!

On the Ranch

We got to spend memorial day weekend up on Todd's grandpa's ranch along with his Mom and Dad and oldest sister and her family. It was so much fun! We stayed in what is called the "Ranch House." This house is right next to the Richins family (Todd's mom's family) reunion site.

birthday weekend

We were able to go to Gilbert this weekend to visit family. I had a blast for my birthday! We tool family pictures on Friday. Sorry I added so many, but they were all so good! On Saturday we got to do some sealings in the temple. I then went shopping with my sister and good friend Heather. That night My Dad grilled steaks and corn on the cob. It was so nice to get out of the house and show off the kiddos a little.

Blessing Dress Photo Shoot

This has been quite a week. Todd has been sick with a sinus infection, but thank goodness for priesthood blessings! It seems like there are always so many things to get done during the week and having two kiddos makes things... interesting, to say the least. My sister's wedding in Vegas got canceled unfortunately due to military crap, but we are still heading to Phoenix for the weekend to celebrate my birthday. We can't wait for a trip!
